After posting about RSS feeds a few of you emailed back to give me feeds (thanks to you), but I cannot believe the lack of rss feeds in the mission. We are not embracing web 2.0 at this point. One of my crusades is going to be getting as many bases using rss on their sites. I think this is important to help the flow of information around the mission. I would appreciate any help in this - if your base site has not got rss capabiliities and would like it please email me and we can see if we can make a change!!! If you have not yet sent me an existing rss feed that you have please please send it to me (dcouper(at)oval.com)

If your ywamsite or another ywam site you know about has an rss feed - I would really appreciate it if you could email me the feed address to dcouper(AT)oval.com it would really help some research we are doing here in harpenden.

YWAMIT is 1 year old now!!! It has been a good year and we are glad that we have initiated some sort of community through it. It was cool to meet some of you at CRIT in Harpenden and I hope there are plenty of other opportunities to meet face to face!

Hey. Does any one know of a good network based image library that we can use for our communications work. Some of the specifics of what we need is a way of uploading and storing all our images on our network. This would be for a few users to be able to log on to and view. I've looked into some Digital Asset Management systems but they're all pretty expensive so if anyone knows of an open source DAM or web based gallery system. A few of the necesities are being able to do bulk uploads as if it is browser based then we don't want to need to do 20 clicks to just upload 5 images.

I have spent a bit of time thinking forward, it is not something we often get a chance to do in YWAM IT as we are spending a lot of time playing catch up.
