If you're anything like me, you have found your self needing some sort of software to convert a file into another format on more than one occasion. Usually you only need it once in a blue moon and spend an hour trying to find some freeware/open source alternative that doesn't give you a pathetic size limit or slap a watermark on it. 

Well I have just came across this site www.zamzar.com that will do it all for you for free. All you need to do it upload the file, then once it's converted they'll send you a email with a link to download it. They will keep it on their server for 24hrs then delete it.

I have tried a few different formats and all worked fantastically. It did well converting a PDF to a .doc - What better to use than an visa form (for our up and coming shift to Australia). All the text became text boxes and were formatted perfectly. The boxes for you to write in became one image per page. So it would be hard if you wanted to make small changes to things that weren't text but it's a small price to pay.
